The event will be held on Zoom and is open to all MPs, MSs, other decision makers and interested organisations in Wales. At the event you will be able to hear directly from the people most impacted by the UK Government’s plans those with direct experience of seeking protection in the UK.

Bydd y digwyddiad yn cael ei gynnal ar Zoom ac mae’n agored i bob AS San Steffan a Senedd Cymru, llunwyr penderfyniadau eraill a sefydliadau sydd â diddordeb yng Nghymru. Yn y digwyddiad byddwch yn clywed yn uniongyrchol gan y bobl yr effeithir arnynt fwyaf gan gynlluniau’r Llywodraeth   y rhai sydd â phrofiad uniongyrchol o geisio amddiffyniad yn y DU.

As people who see the reality of the UK’s asylum and migration system on the ground every day, we have significant concerns about the impact of these plans on people seeking sanctuary and our communities. With our ambition to become a Nation of Sanctuary, we must take a stand for a better approach to supporting refugees that is more effective, fair and humane. This means defending people’s right to seek safety no matter how they came here and ensuring they can live in dignity while they wait for a decision on their asylum application. It means empowering refugees to rebuild their lives and make valuable contributions to our communities. And it means Wales working with other countries to do our bit to help people who are forced to flee their homes.

Fel pobl sy’n gweld realiti’r system lloches a mewnfudo bob dydd ar lawr gwlad, mae gennym bryderon difrifol am effaith y cynlluniau hyn ar bobl sy’n ceisio noddfa a’n cymunedau. Gyda’n huchelgais i fod yn Genedl Noddfa, rhaid inni sefyll dros ffordd well o gefnogi ffoaduriaid sy’n fwy effeithiol, teg a thrugarog. Mae hyn yn golygu amddiffyn hawl pobl i geisio diogelwch ni waeth sut y daethant yma a sicrhau y gallant fyw mewn urddas wrth iddynt aros am benderfyniad ar eu cais am loches. Mae’n golygu grymuso ffoaduriaid i ailadeiladu eu bywydau a gwneud cyfraniadau gwerthfawr i’n cymunedau. Ac mae’n golygu Cymru yn gweithio gyda gwledydd eraill i wneud ein rhan i helpu pobl sy’’n cael eu gorfodi i ffoi o’u cartrefi.

We hope you will join us for this important event. If you would like further information about any aspect of the Bill, or to discuss the impact of these reforms on your local constituency, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Gobeithio y byddwch yn ymuno â ni ar gyfer y digwyddiad pwysig hwn. Os hoffech ragor o wybodaeth am unrhyw agwedd ar y Mesur, neu i drafod effaith y diwygiadau hyn ar eich etholaeth leol, peidiwch ag oedi cyn cysylltu.
